All services require a deposit at the time of your booking which will be then be applied to the services you book. Please allow 48 hours for all rescheduling and cancellations or your deposit will be forfeited. All no-show appointments will be charged the full appointment amount! Mutual respect for one another's time is of the utmost importance, we are always mindful of your time, and expect the same in return.
micro-needling contraindications: Unfortunately, not everyone who is interested in micro-needling is a great candidate for these procedures. These contraindications are meant to protect the client from complications during the procedure and throughout the duration of the healing process, to ensure the best possible result.
*Individuals who are currently pregnant or nursing,
*Those who are taking blood thinners, or have bleeding disorders,
*Uncontrolled diabetes or hypertension,
*Individuals with blood borne diseases like, HIV or hepatitis,
*Those currently undergoing chemotherapy- need doctors note,
*Have active skin cancer,*You are under 18,
*Have a pacemaker or other major heart problems.
*If you are on accutane, or have been on accutane in the past 6 months.
*If you are currently taking steroids
*Have a disease/ disorder that can affect healing, including keloid scarring.
*Lastly, if you cannot lay flat for an hour, this procedure may not be for you.
What is microneedling therapy?
Microneedling, a.k.a. collagen induction therapy is a procedure that utilizes micro needles to puncture through the upper layers of skin to create micro injuries causing the skin to release its' natural healing properties. Through, promotion of collagen and elastin, strengthening your skin barrier, that automatically degenerates with age.
What are the benefits of microneedling therapy?
This procedure is safe and effective and can treat the following conditions:
Acne, burn and surgical scars
Fine lines and wrinkles including crows feet and smoker lines,
stretchmarks,
loose lax skin hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation
and even hair regeneration.
Who is a good candidate for Microneedling?
Outside of the above listed contraindications, Microneedling is ideal for all skin types, for those wanting to improve the appearance of minor skin imperfections such as fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity and uneven skin tone and texture.
Will this procedure cause downtime? (*Individual results may vary)
Microneedling requires little to no downtime, some patients may experience redness dryness, or swelling for a day or two after their treatment with microneedling.
When will I notice results?
Results may be noticeable as soon as you heal from the treatment, when the redness subsides, and after sheeting occurs. Over the course of 1-3 months you should start seeing more evenness, tone and resiliance to your skin. Results can continue to occur up to 6 month period while your body continues to produce more collagen.
How many treatments do I need?
For best results 3-6 treatments are recommended approximately 4-6 weeks apart. Followed by maintenance program of 1 treatment every 6 months for optimal results.
Does this procedure hurt?
Before the procedure begins a topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. This can make the procedure more comfortable and even pain free for some.
